Eagles celebrate Jane Golden's lasting impact at Mural Arts Philadelphia

For nearly three decades, the Eagles have helped restore the outdoor area of 28 local schools through their [annual Playground Build](https://www.philadelphiaeagles.com/community/playground-build).

A big part of that transformation is painting murals on nearby walls, and Mural Arts Philadelphia founder and Executive Director Jane Golden has spearheaded that operation. Golden, who is in her 42nd year with the organization, announced on Monday that she is stepping down as the executive director of Mural Arts in July 2026.

"For almost 30 years, we have had the privilege of working with Jane Golden and Mural Arts to revitalize public school playgrounds in our community," said Don Smolenski, President, Philadelphia Eagles. "Through her vision and dedication, Jane has helped transform these spaces into places of connection, creativity, and pride for the City of Philadelphia. We are grateful for her contributions and know her impact will last for generations to come."
