There are two big player sales which Chelsea are looking to get over the line before the end of the summer transfer window.
Nicolas Jackson and Christopher Nkunku are both being strongly linked with an exit from Stamford Bridge, with more attacking signings expected before Monday’s deadline.
Enzo Maresca confirmed Chelsea were trying to sell Jackson, with them clearly looking to a future with Liam Delap and Joao Pedro as their goalscoring options.
Nkunku is now looking for a permanent move away from the club, with both parties in agreement that a loan deal is not in their best interests.

Nicolas Jackson and Christopher Nkunku both tipped to move to Germany this summer
A number of clubs have been linked with the pair. Plenty of English sides are keen on a deal, while Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig are also interested.
Transfer insider Graeme Bailey has predicted the duo will be on their way to Germany, with the Bundesliga champions in particular being interested by the prospect of Jackson.
He said: “With Jackson there are bits happening with him with Bayern Munich. Obviously he’s agreed to go there in theory, however depends what sort of deal is on the table. They’ve been talking to Chelsea about Nkunku as well. I think it’s fair to say it will be at bit of a surprise that Jackson would accept that sort of role at Bayern if I’m being honest.
“Obviously they’re a massive club but when you’re playing second string to Harry Kane you’re not going to see much game time unless they play slightly different. So we’ll see with that, and Nkunku is still an option, but obviously Jackson they do like the sound of it seems. So I’m surprised that he isn’t going to a Villa to be honest but obviously they’ve got issues themselves.

“It’s as we were. Jackson and Nkunku will leave but we just have to see where they end up. Obviously Leipzig are still very keen on Nkunku as well. So as it stands both look likely they go to Germany but that can change.”

Nkunku and Jackson sales would keep Chelsea in line after UEFA sanction
While Chelsea have made very good money on the likes of Armando Broja, Lesley Ugochukwu and Carney Chukwuemeka’s sales this summer, these have not impacted the club’s status with UEFA.
The Blues were recently sanctioned by the European football body for breaking financial rules, and as per the settlement they need to part ways with some of the players who were in their Conference League squad to maintain a positive transfer balance.
Nkunku and Jackson represent big opportunities for the club to stay on the right line, and register all of their new signings for the upcoming European campaign.
Both players are expected to leave over the next five days, however Chelsea will do what they can to make sure they get the best possible deal for them.
