At the age of 16, Rio Ngumoha broke Newcastle United hearts on Monday night.
Liverpool beat Newcastle 3-2 at St James’ Park, with Rio Ngumoha scoring in the 100th minute to hand the Reds all three points on his Premier League debut.
It was a stunning moment that silenced the Newcastle United fans, who had witnessed their side give everything they had against the Premier League champions with 10 men.
Newcastle played so well, yet went on to suffer defeat in the most agonising fashion.
But it was an incredible moment for Ngumoha, who had an encounter with Newcastle United and England defender Dan Burn after the final whistle.

Dan Burn’s message to Rio Ngumoha after Newcastle United vs Liverpool
Like every Toon player and fan, Burn would have been so deflated after Ngumoha’s stoppage time winner on Monday night.
However, the 33-year-old still showed his class towards the Liverpool wonderkid after the dust had settled at St James’ Park.
According to the Times, Burn approached Ngumoha before the Liverpool squad headed back to Merseyside.

The report states the Newcastle defender congratulated Ngumoha, urging him to ‘enjoy the moment’ after a Premier League debut for the ages.
It was a classy thing for Burn to do, so soon after going to war with Arne Slot’s side. Burn left it all on the pitch, before acting with incredible grace off it.
Who could be Newcastle United’s own Rio Ngumoha
Slot put a lot of faith in Ngumoha. Throwing a player so young into a game of such magnitude and high intensity took real courage from the Liverpool manager, and it paid off.
Newcastle United got caught at the end, having given every ounce of energy they had in the aftermath of Anthony Gordon’s red card.
While it was painful for the Magpies, it was a remarkable story for Ngumoha. His Premier League debut will live long in the memory.
For Newcastle, they will be wondering who their very own Rio Ngumoha could be. Eddie Howe will be eager for the next big thing to emerge from the Newcastle United academy, and there are certainly a few teenage attackers who could go on to have big careers at St James’ Park.
Park Seung-soo, Sean Neave and Trevan Sanusi all look destined for big things in black and white, and will all be hoping that Howe gives them the opportunity that Slot gave Ngumoha on Monday night.
