Everything you need to know about Emma Watson

A star on the rise

Watson made her debut for Rangers at the age of 15, and at 16, she scored her first UEFA Women’s Champions League goal against Portuguese giants Benfica.

Her strong performances in Scotland earned her the PFA Scotland Women's Young Player of the Year for the 2022/23 season, as well as a move to Manchester United in August 2023.

Speaking after she made her United debut against Everton, Red Devils boss Marc Skinner heaped praise on the youngster.

He said: "She did fantastically well. I was really happy with her performance. We've waited for that debut for a long time."

Her impressive goalscoring record continued after her move to the WSL, with Watson bagging her first goal for Manchester United in a 5-3 League Cup win against Newcastle United in December 2024.

Despite being just 19, Watson arrives at Palace with a wealth of experience unique for a player of her age.
