Arsenal could be set to make a shock late move for Real Madrid star Rodrygo, according to reports - with the Brazil star seeing the 'final straw' in his career in Spain recently, after being dropped by Brazil due to a lack of first-team minutes at the Santiago Bernabeu in recent months.
The report by TBR Football states that Rodrygo's move to Arsenal has taken a 'new twist', with the Brazilian having been pushed closer to the exit door at Madrid - and that could see the Gunners make a stunning, shock move for his services in the coming week.

Rodrygo has been on the shortlist of various English sides due to his sudden availability, and with days left in the window, he could still be on the move - despite Arsenal having signed Eberechi Eze from Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon.
The Gunners remain keen on a loan move for the 'world-class' Brazilian, and his axe from former boss Carlo Ancelotti's Brazil squad means that he could have 'major ramifications' in terms of his future, especially with the World Cup set to take place at the end of the season.
He was omitted from the Los Blancos' side to feature against Osasuna in the La Liga curtain-raiser, with other stars such as Brahim Diaz, Franco Mastantuono and Arda Guler being favoured instead - and although he started over the weekend against Real Oviedo, he was taken off just after the hour, and he wasn't happy.
His lack of game time has seen him dropped by the 'Selecao', which could see him rush to find a new club so not to miss out on this summer's tournament in the USA, Canada and Mexico - and that could be the final straw in his Real career. Journalist Graeme Bailey further added on TBR Football:
“I am told that Rodrygo has been edging towards England and this decision from Ancelotti has been seriously noted by Arsenal, Man City and the intermediaries working on this deal.
“This is a World Cup year and Real have already told his camp that they won’t stand in his way if the right offer comes in.”
Rodrygo is therefore ready to join Mikel Arteta's side, where he could challenge Gabriel Martinelli for first-team minutes on the left-hand side, as well as offering a 'world-class' backup for Bukayo Saka, with the England star somewhat suffering with injuries already so far this season.
