Everton are set to decide on Youssef Chermiti’s future soon, with Rangers, Elche CF and other options for him this summer.
That’s according to [Africa Foot](https://africafoot.com/liga-ou-championship-lavenir-de-youssef-chermiti-sera-vite-tranche/), who report that the 21-year-old is attracting interest at the end of the transfer window.
He does not appear to be a part of Everton’s immediate plans after they moved to secure Thierno Barry this summer, and is currently third choice behind the Frenchman and Beto.
A loan was mooted earlier in the summer but could now be finalised at the end of it instead, with Elche showing an interest. They see the young Everton striker as an ideal addition who will bring speed, power and efficiency to their forward line as they look to stay in La Liga following promotion last season.
But competition for his services is likely to be fierce. Several Championship clubs are closely monitoring the deal, Stoke City were named early in the summer window, which Rangers in Scotland are also thinking about taking him to Ibrox.
Everton, for their part, would prefer to send the striker somewhere in England. They believe that would be more beneficial for his adaptation and development, allowing him to get used to English football.
The striker’s fate is expected to be decided in the coming days, with Chermiti determined to secure regular playing time after a frustrating time on Merseyside so far.
