West Ham are in a dire situation right now, and there may be worry among fans about losing more of their best players.
Mohammed Kudus departed for Tottenham, while Lucas Paqueta also faces an uncertain future amid West Ham’s disastrous start to the season.
West Ham’s Carabao Cup defeat to Wolves was their third loss in a row, and captain Jarrod Bowen looked furious at full-time at Molineux as he attempted to confront a fan.
Bowen is West Ham’s star player, and these scenes were troubling, but there may not be any need to worry about his immediate future at the London Stadium.

Darragh MacAnthony slams Jarrod Bowen exit speculation
Bowen should avoid a sanction from the FA after his actions at full-time against Wolves, and his unhappiness may have also fuelled speculation about a potential exit this summer.

However, Peterborough United chairman Darragh MacAnthony has now slammed any suggestion that this could lead to Bowen’s exit, and dismissed any idea that he might be unhappy at West Ham.
“Who’s saying he’s unhappy? This is where you guys go into overdrive during the transfer window. I’ve read things,” MacAnthony rather irately said on Sky Sports when it was implied Bowen’s future may be in question.
“He was just furious losing a game of football, but at no point does that become ‘Let’s sell Jarrod Bowen because he wants to leave’.”
West Ham must improve to keep Jarrod Bowen
There is no chance that Bowen departs West Ham this summer, but if the club continues on its downward spiral, it could very much become a possibility in the future.
Graham Potter is under huge pressure at West Ham, and the possibility of a relegation battle will quickly become a reality unless West Ham drastically improves.
The squad is miles off the level it needs to be after a slow summer transfer window, but West Ham are unlikely to be able to resolve every issue within the next week.
If the Hammers endure another underwhelming season, then Bowen may court interest in the future, and they need to ensure that they can match his footballing ambitions.
Bowen is a West Ham legend, but relegation from the Premier League will certainly mean he departs, while another low finish may ruin their chances of keeping him in the long term.
