Wolverhampton Wanderers have reportedly agreed a deal with Borussia Dortmund for Fabio Silva and are seemingly in line to receive their asking price.
Despite Silva having just one year left on his contract, Wolves have played hardball over the Portugal international's signature all summer.
RB Leipzig and Roma were both interested in the former Porto starlet before it became apparent that a switch to Dortmund was his preference.
However, a permanent transfer was far from a foregone conclusion with Dortmund having initially shown little intent to meet Wolves' valuation.
According to David Ornstein of The Athletic, though, negotiations have now reached a positive conclusion for all parties.

What are Dortmund paying for Fabio Silva?
The report claims that the Bundesliga giants will be shelling out €22.5m (£19.41m) for the 23-year-old with a further €4m (£3.45m) potentially being paid in add-ons.
Wolves had allegedly been looking for in the region of €25m (£21.57m), but compromises have seemingly been reached over the structure of the deal.
Silva has already said goodbye to his Wolves teammates and will now travel to Germany to finalise the transfer.
A former £35m arrival at Molineux, Silva leaves Wolves with five goals and six assists from 72 appearances, but his 10 strikes and three assists from 24 outings for Las Palmas in La Liga in 2024-25 enhanced his reputation.
In total, Silva has 32 goals and nine assists from 101 loan appearances for Anderlecht, PSV Eindhoven, Rangers and Las Palmas.
He will now battle Serhou Guirassy and Karim Adeyemi for a starting spot down the middle of Dortmund's attack.

Major financial boost for Wolves
Even though Wolves are ultimately making a loss on Silva, they are recouping far more than they would have envisaged at previous stages of his five-year spell at the club.
The funds generated can now be, in theory, added to Vitor Pereira's transfer pot at a time when he may need to sign two new strikers before the September 1 deadline.
If Jorgen Strand Larsen leaves for Newcastle United in what would be an £60m deal, supporters would expect several notable additions to be made over the coming days.
Girona defender Ladislav Krejci is already in line to sign for Wolves in a £26m deal, but they have a battle on their hands to bring in Getafe attacker Christantus Uche who is attracting interest from Crystal Palace.
