Bryan Mbeumo has dropped a team news hint ahead of Manchester United's clash against Grimsby Town. The League Two outfit will host Ruben Amorim's side at Blundell Park on Wednesday night as they each look to progress into the third round of the Carabao Cup.
At the weekend, Grimsby came from behind to salvage a 1-1 draw against Accrington Stanley as they held onto a promotion play-off place. Meanwhile, United threw away a one-goal lead at Craven Cottage, with Emile Smith Rowe netting an equaliser in the second half.
Despite a winless start to the season, the Reds will fancy their chances against David Artell's side. However, Grimsby will be determined to pile on the misery, with Amorim under pressure to deliver a piece of silverware.
Nevertheless, Mbeumo has posted a pre-match graphic preview of the fixture to his Instagram story. Historically, this suggests that the 26-year-old forward, whom United recently signed from Brentford for £71m, will be involved in some capacity.

Casemiro and Patrick Dorgu have also done the same, hinting that they too will start against Grimsby. While Benjamin Sesko and Kobbie Mainoo haven't posted on social media ahead of the clash, Amorim has suggested that the duo could finally start.
Speaking to reporters ahead of the game, the United boss confirmed that he'll be making numerous changes to the starting lineup. Amorim said: "Yes. Yes, we have three games this week, we have quality players, and we need to do rotation to try to win every game."
On Ramsus Hojlund, who's yet to feature this season, Amorim said: "All the players are available. Then we will make the choice to get the best starting XI to win every game."

At the weekend, the United boss heaped praise on Sesko, who's made two appearances off the bench since joining from RB Leipzig for £73.7m. After the Fulham clash, Amorim said: "I think he needs time.
"It's not easy sometimes when you are on the bench and you get into the game and the game is really fast. I think he is understanding that the game is faster than the Bundesliga.
"But he's fighting. He had some good connections with his team-mates. I felt that when he was on the pitch, he wasn’t on in our best moment.
Benjamin Sesko

"That can change the way you see a player. I am very happy as you can see his effort. We need to help him, we need to be in a better moment to help him.”
Amorim will be relying on the likes of Sesko to step up this evening. A few players have posted pre-match previews of the Grimsby game to their Instagram stories, but that doesn't necessarily mean they will definitely start or, at the very least, play.
