In the final days of the summer transfer window, Manchester City will likely keep their eye out for potential market opportunities.
However, Pep Guardiola’s men have not given the impression that they will panic anytime soon.
With Tino Livramento set to extend his contract, City have not decided to break the bank to sign him, despite being in desperate need to sign a right-back to replace Kyle Walker.
Similarly, Manchester City could miss out on Gianluigi Donnarumma in the summer as they are willing to wait until January or even next year to secure his services on a free transfer — as they are unwilling to pay a fee of €25 million (£21.5 million) to €30 million (£25.8 million) to sign him.

The Royal Antwerp number one has emerged as one of the best goalkeepers in the Jupiler Pro League and he looks set to be on the move this summer.

However, journalist Yagiz Sabuncouglu has revealed that Galatasaray, who submitted a bid to sign Ederson travelled to Belgium and sat down with Antwerp to submit a “final offer” for the 23-year-old.
The journalist further claimed that Galatasaray’s offer to sign Lammens has “surpassed” the bids made by both Manchester City and Manchester United’s for the goalkeeper.
Pep Guardiola reveals Man City’s goalkeeping situation amid James Trafford struggles

Pep Guardiola discussed James Trafford’s struggles against Tottenham by admitting that no player is guaranteed to start, saying: “James made a good first game, and we decided [for him to] continue.”
Guardiola added: “When I take the decisions normally in the first part of the season, not just for the keeper, the keeper is a special position, of course, to have more consistency in the goal. For all the players, when you play one or two games, everybody thinks: ‘This is the starting lineup, this player is going to play.’ I learn from many years that with this amount of games, everyone will play and be important. It’s just today I decide that [Trafford to start].”
