**Alexander Isak is standing firm on his desire to leave Newcastle United, even following Monday's intervention from Jacobo Solis and Jamie Reuben.**
Isak and his team are refusing to back down from their position, and with time running out, something has to give in the next few days, one way or another.
Nobody seems to be taking more delight in this than Fabrizio Romano, who has gone from reliable transfer reporter to Liverpool mouthpiece and telepath.
As most reporters report on what's actually happening in that Isak's position remains unchanged, Fabrizio Romano has managed to tap into Isak's thoughts as he told his YouTube subscribers what Isak is feeling.
Nobody is getting more joy out of this saga than Fabrizo Romano
---------------------------------------------------------------
On his latest video update, Romano has insisted that Isak 'wants' and 'desires' Liverpool.
> “Alexander Isak insists on his position, on his desire, on his clear view - he wants to go to Liverpool. So despite the efforts from important, really important people at Newcastle, the message coming from the player, from his agent in this direct contact he's having with the most important people into the board, into the management of Newcastle United is that he wants to go to Liverpool. He wants to play for Liverpool.
>
> “And you know after weeks and weeks and weeks to take this position even with a few days before the end of the transfer window in front of the most important people at Newcastle, well it's showing how Alexander Isak is really not changing his point. So let’s see what's going to happen.”
Liverpool is Alexander Isak's only option
-----------------------------------------
Alexander Isak or even his scumbag agent have never publicly mentioned Liverpool, only that Isak wants to 'explore his options', it's just the fact that Liverpool have been the only club to show any genuine interest in signing him that their name is the one that's being bandied about.
Isak wants Liverpool because it's his only viable way out of Newcastle.
We honestly just can't wait for all of this to be over now. Less than a week to go, folks. Let's hang on in there.
