Everton could potentially lose Youssef Chermiti soon as transfer Deadline Day approaches.
The 21-year-old has struggled for game time in recent seasons, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see him leave the Toffees in the coming hours.
Rangers have their eyes on Chermiti, with Kevin Thelwell looking to reunite with the young centre-forward in Glasgow.
David Moyes is expected to make changes against Mansfield Town in the second round of the Carabao Cup at the Hill Dickinson Stadium on 27 August, and the Portuguese striker may have a chance to impress his suitors.

Youssef Chermiti could be loaned to English club by Everton
Chermiti’s future is expected to be decided in the coming days amid interest from several Championship outfits, according to Africafoot.
MORE TOFFEES STORIES
The news outlet reported on 26 August that the Toffees are leaning towards sending the centre-forward out on loan in England rather than abroad.
It’s been claimed that the Blues want the Portugal Under-21 international to get used to the rigours of the Premier League and its lower divisions.
With the Merseyside outfit open to Chermiti’s departure, it remains to be seen where he will end up playing after 1 September.

Championship perfect for Youssef Chermiti
Chermiti could potentially kickstart his career in the Championship, with Stoke City one of the teams being linked with a move for him.
The striker played just 42 minutes in the Premier League for the Toffees last season, which isn’t suitable for his development.
If the Portugal national wants to have a future at the Merseyside outfit, he undoubtedly needs to go out on loan and impress this season.

Chermiti’s record at the Toffees since 2023
Moyes has signed Thierno Barry this summer, with Beto also at the Scottish manager’s disposal, making regular game time unlikely for Chermiti.
The former Sporting CP centre-forward’s best option appears to be a move to a Championship team where opportunities are guaranteed.
But if the young striker goes, Blues fans would arguably anticipate an incoming transfer to reinforce the attack.
