West Ham United have turned their interest to RC Strasbourg midfielder Junior Mwanga and already submitted a bid for him.
That’s [according to Africa Foot](https://africafoot.com/junior-mwanga-tres-convoite-par-west-ham-united/), who report that West Ham have submitted an offer in excess of €7m to Strasbourg’s management for him. They’ve also offered the player a four-year deal.
Negotiations between the various parties are ongoing and could conclude very quickly for the 22-year-old.
The website report that West Ham are accelerating their efforts to strengthen Graham Potter’s squad before the end of the window and Mwanga is now in their sights.
The Hammers have moved on Edson Alvarez this month while Guido Rodriguez has also been linked with a move away also. They’ve also reportedly rejected a bid from Everton for Tomas Soucek.
Their midfield looks likely to be completely reshaped by the end of the window, and it appears that they are planning ahead. They’ve already secured a deal for Monaco’s Soungoutou Magassa, who is expected to complete a move to the London Stadium this week.
Now it appears that their focus is on Mwanga, and a bid has already been submitted for him, with negotiations ongoing from there.
