Everton face Mansfield Town in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night.
David Moyes will have his eyes set on a cup run this season, with the Toffees having seen numerous clubs end their own trophy droughts last season.
An interesting decision lies ahead of the 62-year-old manager with his Everton team selection for Wednesday’s game.
Everton have already seen a number of Premier League sides knocked out by lower league opposition on Tuesday night.
Jack Grealish has suggested he’ll play against Mansfield on Wednesday evening.
But the Everton boss will be keen to offer out some minutes to certain players he is still looking to learn more about.
Thierno Barry impressed Everton fans on his full debut at the weekend, whether he starts against Mansfield remains to be seen.

There had been some suggestions that those inside Everton were worried Barry was not ready for the Premier League.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
He may not have found the back of the net, but the young Frenchman certainly held his own against Brighton & Hove Albion.
Speaking on Sky Sports, legendary striker Thierry Henry waxed lyrical about his compatriot’s full debut for the Blues.
“You mentioned [Jack] Grealish, [Iliman] Ndiaye played well as well, but Barry – I like when you have a striker that can hold the ball for you, and invite players in, go on the counter,” Henry said on Monday Night Football.
“He’s mobile. He’s always been a player that people doubt at the beginning, but they end up liking him.”
Billy McKinlay has been impressed with Barry during the early stages of his time as an Everton player.
This comes following Moyes’ public criticism of Beto, who has now been demoted to the second-choice striker.
In search of his first Everton goal, a start for Barry on Wednesday could do a lot for his confidence.
Thierno Barry responds to Thierry Henry’s praise
With Sunderland Leeds United already being dumped from the competition, Moyes will be keen to avoid the same disappointment.
It would not be a surprise to see the 62-year-old go strong from the start, and pull back some of his starters if Everton take a comfortable lead.
One player Henry will be looking to see in action is Barry, who has now taken to social media to share his thoughts on what the Arsenal legend had to say.
‘I just think that I can sleep peacefully Thierry Henry knows me,’ he said on Instagram.
