Jadon Sancho rare photo with teammates surfaces as Man Utd travel to Grimsby

Jadon Sancho has been pictured inside the Manchester United dressing room with other members of Ruben Amorim's 'bomb squad' ahead of a potential exit this summer. The 25-year-old winger remains exiled alongside Alejandro Garnacho, Antony and Tyrell Malacia, with the transfer deadline just five days away.

United have instructed the outcasts to report to Carrington for training after the first team squad have completed their work for the day. They have also used the club's facilities when Amorim and his players have been travelling for the pre-season tour or for away fixtures.

On Wednesday, the Red Devils travelled to Cleethorpes for their Carabao Cup second-round clash against Grimsby Town.

And with Carrington available, it appears like Sancho and the rest of the 'bomb squad' had free rein inside the first team dressing room.

Ahead of the Grimsby match, the £73million flop shared a photo on Instagram, sat inside the Carrington dressing room next to Antony, Malacia and Lisandro Martinez.

The quartet appeared in high spirits as they smiled for the camera amid continued discussions over their United departures.

Martinez is not part of the 'bomb squad' but is stepping up his recovery from undergoing surgery to repair his torn anterior cruciate ligament in February.

The 27-year-old is expected to return to action before the end of the year to bolster Amorim's defensive options.

As for Sancho, Antony and Malacia, it would be a surprise if they were still stationed at Carrington beyond the summer transfer window.

Chelsea paid £5million to breach their obligation to sign Sancho for £25m after his loan last season due to a failure to agree on a contract.

The former England international recently rejected an approach from AS Roma as he continues to weigh up his options, further straining relations with United supporters.

Antony is expected to return to Real Betis after a successful loan spell in the second half of last term, with club-to-club talks advanced.

Malacia's future is uncertain amid a lack of serious interest, while Garnacho, who was absent from Sancho's selfie, is waiting to complete his chosen switch to Chelsea.

United are braced for a busy end to the summer, with Rasmus Hojlund also primed to leave for Napoli and increasing uncertainty over Kobbie Mainoo's future.
