The **[draw for the Third Round of the League Cup](https://forums.vitalfootball.co.uk/threads/league-cup-third-round-draw-thread.145219/#post-4742169)** will take place following the conclusion of the Second Round tie between Grimsby Town and Manchester United at Blundell Park. City secured their place in the next round following a **[1-0 win away at Burton Albion last night](https://forums.vitalfootball.co.uk/threads/match-thread-burton-albion-v-lincoln-city.145197/page-7#post-4741811)**.

The Imps are ball number 13 in tonight’s draw. The pre-draw will be at approximately 19:25, with the main draw taking place at approximately 22:15.

**Chesterimp:** _“Being selfish, one of the big Merseyside or Manchester sides away would suit me (as would Wrexham, Wigan or Port Vale but please no!), but home v one of the big Prem sides would probably be televised so I’d happliy take that.”_

**PerthImp:** _“Well, I suppose if we’re going to get an away game, either it has to be winnable, or against a big team so we can make some money from the crowd (I assume it still works like that – can’t be sure with all the changes that happen at the whim of the Premiersh\*te.”_

**Snats:** _“Any Premier League side, home or away, would be fine by me. The ideal would be Manchester United away – big payday, everyone who wants a ticket will get one, and I’d give us half a chance of a result!_

_If we do get a bad draw, I would ask everyone to remember that we’ve played Brighton, Burnley, Arsenal, Everton (twice), Liverpool, Southampton, Sheffield United and West Ham in recent memory. We’ve been luckier than most.”_
