West Ham United aren’t having the happiest of starts to the season. After two matches, the Hammers are at the bottom of the Premier League table with zero points, having conceded eight goals and scored one.
Graham Potter’s side lost to Wolves in the EFL Cup on Tuesday evening. There was a minor incident between captain Jarrod Bowen and a supporter after the match, with the forward then apologising.
To cheer things up, some signings would be positive, and it’s been thought West Ham are on the verge of taking Soungoutou Magassa from AS Monaco. There’s been talk of an agreed fee and a medical being planned, but now there’s a Bundesliga club trying to hijack the move.
FootMercato report Eintracht Frankfurt are attempting to scupper the transfer, at this very minute. There’s no indication of whether they’ll be successful or not, or what the player would decide if Monaco gave him the option to choose between the two clubs.
