Alexander Isak spotted in Newcastle wearing red Adidas tracksuit amid £150m Liverpool transfer…

Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak has been snapped mysterious red Adidas tracksuit while visiting a Gosforth store.

A pet shop in Gosforth has joked about Alexander Isak staying at Newcastle United after he visited their store.

In what has developed into the biggest transfer in world football, the Swede has downed tools at St James’ Park as he pushes for a Liverpool exit. Isak has not kicked a ball for Newcastle since May - missing the pre-season tour and first two Premier League games of the campaign.

A lifestyle change could be in store for the 25-year-old should he ditch Tyneside for Merseyside. And in doing so, Isak would need to find a new shop to collect his canine supplies.

The striker has been regularly snapped walking his pet Doberman since joining Newcastle three years ago. Fans have made countless memes featuring Isak’s furry friend following high-profile wins.

Gosforth Bark, which specialises in high-quality dog food, posted a video of Isak purchasing from their store. Ironically, the wantaway Toon talisman was wearing a red Adidas tracksuit - a look that Liverpool supporters could soon get used to.

Posting on Instagram, the store “Here we go…Isak’s been winding up Liverpool fans all summer. Swears he’s staying put because he loves Gosforth Bark. Apparently wore that tracksuit just to rattle Fabrizio Romano. Even texted Arne Slot ‘Not a chance I’m signing… there’s no decent raw food shops near Anfield. Better keep quiet about our next-day nationwide delivery.”

NewcastleWorld approached Gosforth Bark for comment, who could not confirm whether the footage is recent. For now, Isak remains a Magpies player as the saga heads into the final few days of the summer transfer window.
