While the Dallas Cowboys and Micah Parsons have been in a messy contract dispute, fans have been dreaming about the possibility of their team putting together a trade package to land the former Penn State pass rusher.
Green Bay Packers fans have been at the forefront of this, with some sources saying they already have a deal on the table for the premier pass rusher.
Last night, their hopes skyrocketed when former fullback and current analyst John Kuhn posted on X, "Micah Freaking Parsons." However, this wasn't the breaking news fans were looking for.
Packers Insider Reveals What the Post Meant
Unfortunately for Packers fans, it was revealed that Kuhn just wanted to do a little trolling.
Green Bay insider Matt Schneidman shared a screenshot of his text messages with Kuhn after the fact, and the intentions of the post were made clear.
"1.4 million views on a troll tweet. You should be ashamed of yourself." Wrote Schneidman.
"I tweeted like 10 times this year, I need a catchup." Responded Kuhn. "I have said many times I am not in the news breaking business."
So, no, the Packers are not trading for Parsons, nor is Kuhn an NFL insider. The whole ordeal shows just how antsy Green Bay fans are for news regarding the possibility of acquiring the All-Pro pass rusher.
Never say never, but for now, Packers fans should be excited about the current trajectory of the team. With the league's youngest roster, they are set up for success with or without Parsons hunting opposing quarterbacks on their defense.
