Throughout Valencia’s efforts to sign Largie Ramazani over the past week or so, one thing has become increasingly clear: Leeds United see a future in which the 24-year-old can be useful to them.
Initially, the Spanish club wanted to sign the attacker on loan with a purchase option next summer, so they could take him away from Elland Road permanently should they choose to do so.
Leeds United were dead set against that, and Valencia eventually gave up and accepted they’d only be getting Ramazani on a dry loan.
[Las Provincias](https://www.lasprovincias.es/valenciacf/valencia-cierra-cesion-ramazani-20250827175716-nt.html), a newspaper local to Valencia, now report the Premier League club wanted their own clause, and that’s why negotiations were only finalised earlier today.
Leeds United requested a clause which meant they could take the player back in January if Valencia manager Carlos Corberán didn’t use him in at least half of the club’s matches.
So both clubs wanted clauses they weren’t able to get, and Leeds United’s stance makes it clear they value the player.
