Liverpool fans are delighted after Paul Joyce broke the news that Stefan Bajcetic wants to stay and fight for his place in the squad.
Reporting via his Twitter account, the Times’ reporter Paul Joyce says that Liverpool midfielder Bajcetic wants to remain at the club after his loan spell with Las Palmas last season.
Joyce writes: “Stefan Bajcetic set to stay at Liverpool and work with Arne Slot and coaching staff on continued development.
“Tyler Morton’s move to Lyon, and with James McConnell set to join Ajax on loan, means Liverpool want Bajcetic to remain at club and build on his performances while on loan at Las Palmas last season.
“He also counts on homegrown list for UEFA competition.”

Liverpool fans may finally get the chance to see Stefan Bajcetic shine at Anfield years after his breakthrough
When the Spaniard broke into the Liverpool first team at ay 17, it was to the disbelief of many supporters.
It was so surprising how mature and fluid he was on the ball but his injury woes disrupted his development majorly.
Between a back injury that forced him to miss 159 days and 18 games, the calf injury that kept him out for 193 days and 47 games and the hamstring problem that ruled him out for 106 days and 2 games, it’s good to have Bajcetic back.
He is now 20 and hopefully has his healthiest days ahead of him.
So many serious injuries at such a young age is a concern but Liverpool have made a good decision to keep him close to their top medical team and if they keep him fit and healthy, he will be a strong player to have in the squad.
Arne Slot has a lot of games to prepare for this season and in the early rounds of the FA Cup and Carabao Cup, Liverpool could use him to rest their starting midfielders.
