Journalist states Leeds United have 'agreed' their next departure as Daniel Farke moves on another fringe player

Leeds United have wasted no time in responding to back-to-back defeats by agreeing a deal to move on another fringe member of Daniel Farke’s squad.

With just a handful of days remaining in the 2025 summer transfer window, Daniel Farke still has plenty of work to do to finalise his Leeds squad for the Premier League season.

While fans are focused on new signings, with Emi Buendia of Aston Villa now linked with a move to Leeds, the Whites still have several players to move out before deadline day.

Out-of-favour goalkeeper Illan Meslier, former England international Patrick Bamford and Werder Bremen-linked defender Isaac Schmidt are all expected to leave Elland Road this summer.

Exciting winger Largie Ramazani now looks set to join the list of those leaving Leeds, after a report confirmed that he will complete his move to Valencia imminently.

Largie Ramazani’s Leeds United exit confirmed

Posting on the social media site X (formerly Twitter), journalist Sacha Tavolieri confirmed that the deal to take Ramazani back to La Liga is now confirmed.

The two parties have been in negotiations for several days, with Leeds pushing for the inclusion of a purchase option in the agreement.

Now, Tavolieri has confirmed that Leeds have got their wish, and the winger should complete his move in the coming days.

Departure ramps up the pressure on Daniel Farke

Although Ramazani was a peripheral figure during Leeds’ promotion season, he was a favourite among the fanbase and showed that he is a dangerous player in flashes during his time at Elland Road.

However, he struggled to win Farke’s trust and has played no part in Leeds’ competitive fixtures so far this season, culminating in his exclusion from the squad to face Sheffield Wednesday.

Now that his deal looks to be edging closer to completion, the pressure on Farke is only increasing, as Leeds enter the final days of the window.

Having openly stated the need for attacking signings, Farke has taken a risk by offloading the talented winger. If his reinforcements fail to arrive, Leeds have one fewer option in attack following Ramazani’s exit.
