Leeds United have endured some bitter days after losing to Sheffield Wednesday in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday.
Daniel Farke had a relatively easy task at Hillsborough on 26 August, but Leeds were knocked out by Sheffield Wednesday after losing on penalties.
This comes after Arsenal took the West Yorkshire outfit to task at the Emirates Stadium, winning 5-0 to dampen the atmosphere in LS11.
Farke’s tenure at Elland Road is already being questioned again after the recent poor results, as the Peacocks look to secure their place in the Premier League this season.

Leeds United relegation guaranteed by Gabby Agbonlahor
Leeds “will definitely” be relegated from the Premier League this season, Gabby Agbonlahor says.
MORE LEEDS STORIES
The former Aston Villa star hasn’t been impressed with the Whites after watching them play against Arsenal, and heartbreak could potentially be guaranteed at Elland Road next year.
Agbonlahor feels the West Yorkshire outfit have problems all over the pitch, making them one of the favourites to return to the Championship.
Speaking on talkSPORT on 27 August, the Englishman said: “I watched the Leeds game against Arsenal and I thought they were very poor. I know it’s Arsenal, and you can’t look at those sorts of games. But I think all over the pitch — defensively, I’m not sure about the goalkeeper, attacking-wise — I think Leeds will definitely go back down.”
Farke won the Championship title with 100 points last season.
The Whites have signed 10 players this summer.
Newcastle United travel to Elland Road next on 30 August.
Farke can’t be judged just two games into the Premier League season, and deserves more time in the dugout.
The Whites got the three points against Everton after a dominant first-half display, and they showed enough in the performance to prove they can survive immediate relegation.
While the loss at the Emirates was damaging, that one result, along with losing to Sheffield Wednesday with a makeshift starting lineup, can’t determine how the season will go in LS11.

Daniel Farke just needs a new striker at Elland Road
Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s stinker at Hillsborough highlights the need for a better backup striker in West Yorkshire.
While Joel Piroe won the Championship Golden Boot last season, he will undoubtedly need more support in the English top flight.
Farke shouldn’t be forced to rely on the Dutch striker, who has never played in the Premier League before this season, to be his main goalscorer.
But the German will undoubtedly still have every reason to believe that the West Yorkshire outfit can end the campaign outside the relegation zone after spending a significant sum on decent reinforcements.
