In a dramatic turn of events, Jonathan Kuminga has been the Golden State Warriors' most discussed player this offseason.
Golden State's front office has yet to make any transactions; meanwhile, the Warriors and Kuminga are still at a standstill, as he remains a restricted free agent.
However, Maxwell Ogden of Blue Man Hoop discussed a situation where Kuminga is used to bring in a guard to play alongside Stephen Curry.
“If the Golden State Warriors are hoping to complete a Jonathan Kuminga sign-and-trade for a meaningful upgrade, then Coby White and the Chicago Bulls would have the answers they're searching for,” Ogden said Wednesday.
“White's ability to create for himself, work without the ball, and even excel as a distributor at 4.8 assists per game over the past two seasons would instantly transform the Warriors' offense.”
Coby White stepped up for the Chicago Bulls last season, averaging a career high of 20.4 points per game.

The situation with the Warriors and Kuminga has only gotten worse, and no progress has been made as he continues to express that he no longer wants to be with the team.
White could bridge the gap for the Dubs as an elite third option behind Curry and Jimmy Butler.
As the Warriors continue to grow older, a 25-year-old explosive guard could be the solution to bringing the team their eighth championship.
