Leeds United are expected to be active in the final days of the transfer window as Daniel Farke eyes an attacking side, while there are also rumours suggesting he could pursue a midfielder.
Having landed a tenth addition in the form of £10m arrival James Justin – which has taken spending over £100m – Leeds are now looking to bring in an attacker that can play in multiple positions in the final third.
The likes of Bilal El Khannouss, Nico Gonzalez and plenty more have been linked in recent days. But a deal for Juventus’ Argentina star Gonzalez was unlikely and Leicester want El Khannouss to join a Saudi side.
Leeds need an attacker that can play out wide, but also provide cover in the no.10 role and if required, even play further forward as a second striker. Another star mentioned is Brighton’s Facundo Buonanotte.

Brighton make Facundo Buonanotte decision on Wednesday night
Leeds have been linked with a move for the Argentina star this summer, after his impressive loan last term with Leicester alongside Justin and El Khannouss. Brighton want to loan him to a Premier League club.

Dortmund and Lyon have shown interest in Buonanotte, but nothing has materialised with Brighton keen to keep him in the Premier League. Reports this week say Leeds are leading the race for Buonanotte.
On Wednesday night, Brighton are away at Oxford United in the second round of the Carabao Cup and for the third time this season, Buonanotte was left out of Brighton’s side despite his side making changes.

Facundo Buonanotte is the perfect late addition at Leeds
With £108.5m spent without selling a considerable amount like Burnley or Sunderland have, in James Trafford and Jobe Bellingham’s exits, Leeds are likely to be at the bottom of the barrel in financial terms.
A loan makes sense. Farke still needs another attacking option and Buonanotte is a bit different to the rest of the Leeds players. That flair, that magic out of nothing, that ability to excite the supporters.
If Leeds can only spend a little bit or have to strike a loan deal, then Buonanotte is the man they should be looking to sign this summer. Whether or not Leeds do move before the deadline, remains to be seen.
