FRANKLIN, Tenn. (WSMV) - The Franklin Police Department announced the arrest of an NFL free agent following a domestic incident on Wednesday.
FPD reports that Shaq Mason, 31, of Brentwood, was arrested following an incident at a home in Franklin.
Mason was apprehended during a traffic stop, according to FPD.

He’s charged with aggravated assault, aggravated burglary, harassment, and driving on a suspended license. Mason’s bond has been set at $150,000.
He remains in custody at this time. Mason last played for the Houston Texans, along with previous stops at New England and Tampa Bay.
The 31-year-old is from Columbia, Tennessee, and attended Georgia Tech.
