Chelsea host West London rivals Fulham in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
Enzo Maresca’s side recorded their first win of the season last time out, defeating London rivals West Ham United 5-1 at The London Stadium.
The Blues have lifted both the Europa Conference League and the FIFA Club World Cup in recent months, and Maresca will hope to add to that haul this term.
In the build up to Saturday’s game, it has emerged that one member of Maresca’s squad is attracting interest from Italy.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Serie A side AC Milan have made contact about a potential deal for Chelsea forward Christopher Nkunku.
The France international joined the Blues back in 2023 but was plagued by injuries during his first season in London.

Last term he struggled to establish himself as a regular starter in Maresca’s squad last season, though, starting just nine of Chelsea’s 38 Premier League matches.
Nkunku hasn’t featured in either of the Blues’ league matches so far this season, and Romano claims that the France international is open to the idea of leaving Stamford Bridge before the end of the current transfer window.
In total, Nkunku has scored 18 goals in 62 games for Chelsea across all competitions, as well as providing five assists.
The forward is under contract until the end of the 2028/29 campaign, but Romano appears to suggest that he could depart his current club this month.
It is claimed that Serie A giants Milan are on the hunt for attacking reinforcements, with Nkunku having been discussed as a possible target in recent days.
The striker is seemingly behind the likes of Liam Delap and Joao Pedro in the pecking order of forwards in Maresca’s squad.
