The Detroit Lions have emerged as one of the most exciting teams in the NFL after a low in 2021, managing only three wins that season. The turnaround has certainly been a welcome sight for long-suffering fans, but the team hasn't yet found a way to capture an elusive Super Bowl appearance. After winning 15 games in 2024, the Lions were thwarted in the NFC playoffs. But 2025 could be another stellar season for this talented, young, and hungry squad. Of course, there's only one way to find out what will happen. Here's where to watch Detroit Lions games live in 2025.

Detroit is back for vengeance with a number of offensive starters returning this season. Quarterback Jared Goff will lead this impressive lineup after ranking second in the league last year in passing yards, QB rating, and completion percentage. At his side will be a backfield that netted 32 touchdowns in 2024. One significant change could pose some issues though: the Lions have a new offensive coordinator after Ben Johnson skipped town to become the Chicago Bears' head coach.
On the defensive side, Detroit will also have another new coordinator this year in Kelvin Sheppard, after their previous coordinator landed a head coaching job with the New York Jets. On the one hand, both coordinators being offered coaching gigs can be seen as a testament to how good the Lions were last year. But on the other hand, the personnel changes threaten to disrupt what is an already stellar operation.
This season, Detroit Lions games will air on CBS, FOX, ESPN, ABC, NBC, Prime Video, and Netflix. Here are all your options for getting access to these games. Keep in mind that, as always, blackout restrictions may apply depending on your location.
How to Watch the Detroit Lions on Prime Video
Detroit Lions fans can stream the week 11 matchup exclusively on Prime Video. An Amazon Prime membership is $14.99/month or $139/year, which includes access to Thursday Night Football along with movies, shows, and more.

Fans can catch the Detroit Lions under the bright lights in week six and week 11 on NBC's Sunday Night Football, streaming live on Peacock. A subscription costs $10.99/month or $109.99/year, giving viewers access not only to Sunday Night Football but also to a wide lineup of NBC favorites.
How to Watch the Detroit Lions on Paramount+

You can also subscribe to Paramount+ Premium through Prime Video, which is the same price in addition to a Prime Video or Amazon Prime membership.
How to Watch the Detroit Lions on ESPN Unlimited
ESPN Unlimited is the all-in-one hub for everything ESPN covers, making it a must-have for Detroit Lions fans. The plan starts at $29.99/month or $29.99/month for 12 months when bundled with Disney+ and Hulu, though that limited-time offer will rise back to $35.99/month after it ends. While ESPN Select (formerly ESPN+) offers some football content, only ESPN Unlimited ensures you'll never miss a Lions matchup airing on ESPN. It's designed for fans who want complete coverage without juggling multiple apps.
How to Watch the Detroit Lions on Fubo
Fubo is a strong choice for streaming every snap of Lions football without relying on cable. New subscribers can kick things off with a five-day free trial, and plans start at $84.99/month. Each package comes with 230+ channels, including CBS and ESPN, along with unlimited DVR to catch every replay. With the ability to stream on up to 10 devices at once, you can keep the Lions game on in the living room while the rest of the family watches something else.
How to Watch the Detroit Lions on DIRECTV STREAM
Lions fans can follow the entire 2025 season with DIRECTV STREAM, which carries key NFL channels like CBS, NBC, FOX, ESPN, and ABC. That means every Detroit matchup is covered, though availability may vary depending on your location. Plans begin at $79.99/month, with pricing based on the package you select. Sports fans can also tack on extras like MySports for $69.99/month (which includes ESPN Unlimited), making DIRECTV STREAM a well-rounded option for keeping up with the Lions all year.
How to Watch the Detroit Lions on Hulu + Live TV
Hulu + Live TV is another great option; it has every TV channel airing Lions games in 2025, including CBS, ABC, ESPN, NBC, and FOX. There's a wide selection of subscription plans you can choose from that include bundled deals on other streaming services, allowing you to have an all-in-one entertainment package. But Hulu (with ads) + Live TV, Disney+ (with ads) and ESPN Unlimited (with ads) for $82.99/month is certainly the most popular. Whatever you go with, you'll be able to watch Lions games throughout the 2025 season.
How to Watch the Detroit Lions on Sling TV
Sling TV carries most of the channels broadcasting Lions games in 2025 in its various plans, including ABC, ESPN, FOX, and NBC. Any option will deliver the Lions vs. Vikings game straight to your home on Christmas.

Stepping up to NFL+ Premium at $14.99/month unlocks NFL RedZone, so you can track every touchdown around the league on Sundays. Since live games are only available on mobile and tablet, NFL+ is best used as a complement to your main TV streaming service.
