NFL teams trimmed their rosters to 53 this week and 17 former Louisville players made the cut.

Here's a look at those Cardinals that made the 53-man roster in the NFL.
Yasir Abdullah | Linebacker | Jacksonville Jaguars
Abdullah was a fifth-round pick in the 2023 draft. In two seasons with the Jaguars, Abdullah has recorded 17 tackles.
Jaire Alexander | Defensive Back | Baltimore Ravens
Alexander was a first-round pick in the 2018 draft. Following seven seasons with Green Bay, Alexander is in his first season at Baltimore.
A two-time All-Pro selection, he has 287 career tackles, along with 12 interceptions.
Tutu Atwell | Wide Receiver | LA Rams
Atwell was a second-round pick in the 2021 draft. In three seasons with the Rams, he has 99 receptions for 164 yards and four touchdowns.
Mekhi Becton | Offensive Line | LA Chargers
Becton was a first-round pick in the 2020 draft. Spent three seasons with the New York Jets before playing for Philadelphia last season, winning a Super Bowl with the Eagles. He's in his first season with the LA Chargers. Becton has started 45 games during his career.
Teddy Bridgewater | Quarterback | Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Bridgewater was a first-round pick in the 2014 draft. A Pro Bowl selection in 2015, Bridgewater is in his first season with Tampa Bay.
He's appeared in 79 games, with 64 starts, throwing for 15,120 yards and 75 touchdowns.
Jarvis Brownlee | Defensive Back | Tennessee Titans
Brownlee was a fifth-round pick in the 2024 draft. In his rookie season with the Titans, he started 14 games and was third on the team with 74 tackles.
Kei'Trel Clark | Defensive Back | Arizona Cardinals
Clark was a sixth-round choice in the 2023 draft. He's appeared in 29 games over two seasons with 47 tackles and an interception.
Yaya Diaby | Linebacker | Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Diaby was a third-round pick in the 2023 draft. Through two seasons, Diaby has 92 tackles, including 12 sacks.
Storm Duck | Defensive Back | Miami Dolphins
Duck signed as an undrafted free agent in 2024. Totaled 34 tackles in 14 games as a rookie last fall.
Ashton Gillotte | Defensive End | Kansas City Chiefs
Gillotte was a third-round pick in the 2025 draft.
Isaac Guerendo | Running Back | San Fransisco 49er's
Guerendo was a fourth-round pick in the 2024 draft. As a rookie, he rushed for 420 yards and four touchdowns.
Lamar Jackson | Quarterback | Baltimore Ravens
Jackson was a first-round pick in the 2018 draft. He his a two-time NFL MVP and four-time Pro Bowl choice.
For his career, Jackson has thrown for 20,059 yards and 166 touchdowns. He's also rushed for 6,173 yards and 33 touchdowns.
Sheldon Rankins | Defensive Line |
Rankins was a first-round pick in the 2016 draft. Rankins is in his 10th in the NFL. He spent his five seasons in the league with the New Orleans Saints. He also spent two seasons with the New York Jets, before a year with the Houston Texans and Cincinnati Bengals. He's back with the Texans for 2025.
For his career, Rankins has 247 tackles, with 30.5 sacks.
Quincy Riley | Defensive Back | New Orleans Saints
Riley was a fourth-round pick in the 2025 draft.
Tyler Shough | Quarterback | New Orleans Saints
Shough was a second-round selection in the 2025 draft.
Corey Thornton | Defensive Back | Carolina Panthers
Signed as an undrafted free agent in 2025.
Jamari Thrash | Wide Receiver | Cleveland Browns
Thrash was a fifth-round pick in the 2024 draft. As a rookie, Thrash had three catches for 22 yards in nine games.
** Also of note, former UofL players who transferred away that are in the NFL are sixth-year pro Jonathan Greenard, a linebacker with the Minnesota Vikings, and 49er's rookie wide receive Jordan Watkins.
