Jack Grealish has already proven that he can help David Moyes in multiple ways at Everton.

Everton secured a 2-0 win over Brighton on 24 August, with the Toffees starting their new era in L5 with a win.

Moyes couldn’t have asked for more from Grealish, with the 29-year-old providing two assists as the Blues beat the Seagulls 2-0.

With the England international in the starting lineup, the Scottish manager may have stumbled upon his perfect attacking setup.

Iliman Ndiaye’s best position unlocked

Iliman Ndiaye made history at Bramley-Moore Dock, scoring the first goal in a competitive game for the Toffees at their new stadium.

The Senegal international was set up by none other than Grealish, who started on the left-wing for the Blues against Brighton.

A majority of the Merseyside outfit’s attacks in the 2-0 victory came down the left side, with the Manchester City loanee the catalyst.

It may have also allowed Moyes to unlock Ndiaye’s best position in the current system, as he made a massive impact on the right-wing before being substituted in the 64th minute.

A magnificent partnership could potentially be brewing in Merseyside, with the Englishman and the former Marseille forward pulling the strings in the final third of the pitch.

With Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall being preferred in the number 10 role, the Scottish manager has unlocked what could possibly be a deadly duo on the wings.

Tyler Dibling has work cut out after Iliman Ndiaye display

Moyes has signed Tyler Dibling from Southampton, with the Toffees agreeing on a £40million deal for the 19-year-old.

The English youngster broke into the Saints’ starting lineup last season, but will undoubtedly have tough competition to get into the team at Everton.

Ndiaye’s performance against Southampton at Goodison Park in the previous campaign highlighted his importance for Moyes, with Martin Keown terming the Senegalese forward “outstanding” on Match of the Day 2 after he scored the last goal for the Men’s team at the Grand Old Lady in the 2-0 win.

With the 25-year-old mostly playing down the left-wing in the 2024/25 season, the attacker has proven he can make a similar, if not better, impact from the right.
