Leeds take on Newcastle at Elland Road this Saturday, and they’ll be hoping to put their last two results behind them with a positive performance against the Magpies.

Daniel Farke’s side opened the Premier League season with a 1-0 win over Everton, but they’ve since been spanked 5-0 by Arsenal and eliminated from the Carabao Cup by Sheffield Wednesday.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin could make his league debut for Leeds in this game, while there’s talk of whether Alexander Isak could be reintegrated into the Newcastle squad before this match.

Below, MOT Leeds News rounds up the latest weather, ticket and travel news surrounding the game.

High chance of rain for Leeds v Newcastle match

The final bank holiday of the British summer has passed, and poor weather has been forecast in Yorkshire on Saturday.

MORE LEEDS STORIES

The Met Office reports that there’s a 90% chance of rain in Leeds when the match kicks off at 17:30.

Temperatures will reach highs of 17C, while winds could reach 12 miles per hour. The predicted humidity rating is 82%.

It may not be the perfect weather for Leeds to attempt any form of astute tiki-taka football, then.

Home tickets sold out for Leeds vs Newcastle clash

There are no tickets remaining for this match from official sources, unless you’re willing to buy a hospitality matchday package starting from £180 per person.

It looks like it will be rare that home tickets will be available on general sale now that Leeds have returned to the Premier League.

Away fan guide

Away fans are seated at the South side of the John Charles West Stand. They enter the ground via Entrances 1 and 2, and the away ticket office is adjacent to these entrances.

For those driving to the game, there are two car parks at Elland Road, both costing £6 per hour. Car Park A is accessible via Lowfields Road at the East Stand, whilst Car Park B is accessed via Wesley Street, next to the Old Peacock pub.

Leeds train station is the closest to Elland Road, although it’ll take roughly 35 minutes to walk to the stadium from there.

There are several regular bus services from the train station to the stadium, but arrive in plenty of time as there is usually a lot of traffic leading up to kick-off.
