PSG midfielder Carlos Soler, who spent last season on loan at West Ham United, has not extended his stay in London, though the veteran remains on the radar of interested clubs.
Soler moved to West Ham last summer in search of consistent minutes and a fresh start, joining on deadline day despite interest from several teams.
By February,Claret and Hugh reported that West Ham were unlikely to activate the purchase option in his loan deal. While the transfer fee of just under €20 million wasn’t a major obstacle, Soler’s high wages ultimately made a permanent move out of reach.
