The majority of Manchester United players should hang their heads in shame after being knocked out of the Carabao Cup by Grimsby Town.
Manchester United found themselves two goals down to League Two outfit Grimsby Town inside 30 minutes at Blundell Park which forced Ruben Amorim into half-time changes.
Amorim was heavily criticised for the defeat, while the Portuguese head coach did not hold back on his players in his post-match assessment.
The majority of the United squad should hang their heads in shame after the performance, with Andre Onana particularly terrible on his return to the starting line-up.
But not every player let down Amorim against Grimsby, with one star in particular giving everything to try and turn the game around.

Man United star didn’t deserve to lose vs Grimsby
Amorim will be pleased with the spirit his side showed in the second half, but to be in a position where they were two goals down to a League Two side is unforgivable.
Three changes were introduced at half-time to change the game, including club captain Bruno Fernandes coming on in place of Manuel Ugarte.

Bruno Fernandes silenced critics again
Just a few days before the Grimsby clash, Fernandes missed a penalty against Fulham and there is no denying the Portuguese playmaker had a poor game.
But anyone calling for Fernandes to be dropped and left out quickly realised why he is still so integral to this side.
Fernandes rejected a £100m move to Saudi and many supporters have since questioned whether the club should have sanctioned the sale.

However, United’s performance once again proved that the quality levels staggeringly drop when Fernandes is not on the pitch.
There have been fresh reports linking Fernandes to Saudi, and after that United performance, not many would blame him if he changed his mind on making the move.
