David Moyes is showing that he isn’t messing about with outgoings this summer after assessing the Everton squad.
It started with Abdoulaye Doucoure, and most recently, Nathan Patterson’s loan to Sevilla, as Moyes is making the big decisions.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s future was, of course, another pivotal choice made, as the Scotsman looks to be retaining the players he only sees fit for the project ahead.
This still leaves stars in the squad having their destiny unanswered, as Moyes won’t want any signs of team morale dipping.
So now, after an absence against Mansfield in the EFL Cup, the Everton boss has made yet another key decision.

David Moyes will loan out Youssef Chermiti after EFL Cup absence for Everton
It’s already been confirmed that Youssef Chermiti could be loaned by Everton, but nothing has been set in stone yet.
But Moyes has confirmed this to be the case after the win on Wednesday night, and the reason he wasn’t in the squad for the Mansfield clash was due to the ‘opportunity’ for football elsewhere with the deadline closing in.

With the squad needing more depth, there is also the case that many faces need more game time due to their position coming under threat.
The 21-year-old Portuguese striker hasn’t had a strong run of games since his £15 million move from Sporting, and now he’s been presented with the chance.
