Manchester City’s latest 2-0 defeat against Tottenham Hotspur showed that they are still a work in progress as a side.
Jamie Carragher claimed James Trafford is under pressure already as the 22-year-old dominated the headlines after his error that led to Joao Palhinha’s goal.
However, on the whole, Manchester City were worse for wear against Spurs.
While Pep Guardiola and Thomas Frank had an amicable conversation after the game, the City boss has every reason to be concerned.

However, journalist Dharmesh Sheth has claimed that the Italian could end up staying at PSG on the Transfer Talk podcast: “He said his goodbyes already, but it’s one of those situations where he could end up saying his goodbyes and end up staying at Paris Saint-Germain because that is still a big live option.”
Sheth added: “It’s a bit of a comparison with Emiliano Martinez, wasn’t it? He was crying at the end of his last home game for Aston Villa.”
“Here he is. He’s still there. It’s going to be interesting to see how these last few days develop with regard to Donnarumma because there is still scope for a move to happen there.”
David Ornstein shares whether PSG believe Man City will sign Gianluigi Donnarumma
Manchester City will be hoping that they can secure Donnarumma’s services, who would likely displace Trafford as their number one from the get-go.
The 26-year-old is one of Europe’s most in-form goalkeepers and has the experience of playing at the highest level for both club and country.
David Ornstein claimed PSG believe Donnarumma will join Manchester City, which could suggest that a move will go through. However, Ornstein mentioned that a deal is not “advanced” yet.
