Jeff Teague claims that Kenny Atkinson saw the potential of Giannis Antetokounmpo, Nikola Jokic and Stephen Curry before anyone else.
Jeff Teague became a prominent name in sports entertainment with his Club 520 Podcast.
In the latest episode, Teague talked about Kenny Atkinson, head coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Teague claims that Atkinson is able to evaluate the potential of superstar players before they blossom into that role.
"Kenny Atkinson literally said to me that Giannis Antetokounmpo and Stephen Curry will be the best players in the league."
"He told me that he watched that kid [Giannis] dribble, sharing the balls behind his back, he said that he will be the best in the league and that we should trade for him. And Hawks tried to but couldn't get it done," Teague started.
"I always believed in whatever he said because he also told me what will Steph Curry become, man. I told him there's no chance but when he broke out I said to him he's the GOAT, and I'll believe him whatever he says, he's a wizard."
Atkinson also opened Teague's eyes with Nikola Jokic:
"We were playing in Denver, and Kenny says to me that their best player is on the bench, Nurkic was starting then. Jokic had a double-double that night and Kenny just said 'told you, he's the best'. Kenny, bro, you are the greatest," Teague concluded.
