Leeds United’s start to the season has quickly taken a dramatic turn for the worse.
Elland Road was bouncing as Leeds beat Everton in the first game of their Premier League campaign, but it has been a disaster since.
A 5-0 thrashing at the hands of Arsenal was followed by a penalty shoot-out defeat to Sheffield Wednesday for Leeds in the Carabao Cup that can only be described as embarrassing, given the sad state of affairs regarding Wednesday at the moment.
There were major doubts about whether Daniel Farke was the right man for the job at Leeds in the Premier League, and these doubts have already begun to resurface as things continue to go from bad to worse for Leeds.

Leeds handed major Largie Ramazani exit agreement blow
It’s early days, but the business the 49ers have conducted so far looks to be extremely underwhelming, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin having an absolute nightmare on his Leeds debut.

Farke’s inexcusable decision to play Brenden Aaronson out wide again against Wednesday and the American failing to have an impact on the game, only further highlights how bizarre the decision is to let Ramazani leave.
Aaronson was terrible again for Leeds as he was deployed on the right wing against Sheffield Wednesday

Farke’s decision to continue to play Aaronson and even shoehorning him in the team out wide instead of Ramazani has left the fanbase scratching their head
Ramazani is close to completing a loan move to Valencia, but the latest reports confirm that the 49ers look to have sanctioned another questionable piece of business this summer.
According to Spanish outlet Tribuna Deportiva on August 28, Leeds have agreed to remove a clause that would allow them to get Ramazani back in January if he didn’t play a certain number of games that they initially wanted as part of the deal.
So not only are Leeds letting one of their best wingers go, but he could potentially be stuck on the bench at his new club, Valencia, too, and there’s nothing United can do about it.
It begs the question as to whether Leeds could have been stronger in making the recall clause stick, or if not if another club could be sought for Ramazani.

When could Largie Ramazani make his Valencia debut?
The report also suggests that Ramazani could be on the bench for Valencia’s game against Getafe on Friday night as the winger closes in on a La Liga return.
The decision to allow the clause to be removed regarding Ramazani’s gametime takes all of Leeds’ leverage away, with it almost signalling a desperation to get rid of the winger.
One positive is that Valencia does not have an option to buy the 24-year-old in the loan deal, so Leeds could potentially fetch a higher fee for the Belgian if they want him to leave West Yorkshire permanently next summer.
