Everton have the chance to really kick on in the Premier League against Wolves after the Hill Dickinson Stadium saw a strong display against Brighton.
Momentum seems to be building in David Moyes’ camp as two wins on the bounce don’t come often for the Toffees.
The good thing for the Scotsman is that he’ll have tough decisions to make in his team as Moyes will have a headache with Carlos Alcaraz, who played well in the EFL Cup clash.
This is the healthiest thing for the team moving forward, as the Everton boss will know that he has players fighting for their place.
Although there are positive signs around the club at the moment, Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville have given an interesting prediction ahead of the Wolves game.

Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville think Everton will lose vs Wolves
Despite the Toffees having a strong start to August for once, the two pundits only see the game ending one way.
Speaking on the Overlap’s Stick To Football, Carragher and Neville both agreed that Moyes’ side won’t secure back-to-back wins, and instead another defeat is waiting.
“I thought Everton were so poor at Leeds away, but obviously they did better at home,” Neville said.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
Carra said, “I can’t see Everton winning that. We’ll go with 1-1,” with Neville in agreement: “It will either be Wolves win or draw. Yeah, we’ll go 1-1.”
But in a dramatic change of mind, the duo both said: “Wolves 2-1, we’ve changed!”
Despite the feel-good factor looking to return to the club, it’s clear that neither of the former players are too convinced by the Blues.
Everton looked better attacking vs Brighton, which is a big positive moving forward, but the prediction is understandable, judging by a key concern for both teams early on in the season.
Everton and Wolves have the highest xG conceded in the Premier League this season
Although fortunes are looking up in the final third for the Blues, the opposite is occurring at the other end of the pitch.
The main problem last campaign was goal scoring, and it seems like that is being sorted out, but from a defensive point of view, the Toffees have conceded the most xG so far this season, with Wolves coming behind them as the second-worst.
Everton 4.6
Wolves 3.8
Leeds United 3.7
West Ham 3.5
Burnley 3.1

This certainly isn’t a good look for Moyes’ regime, and it’s fair to say that if Brighton had their shooting boots on last Sunday, the result could have been very different.
Goals should certainly be expected from this encounter, as both teams could rely on their output in an attacking sense.
Moyes wants more goals at Everton, but that doesn’t look to be his biggest worry at the club at this moment.
