Tyrell Malacia has attracted multiple approaches from European clubs this summer, but a move away from Manchester United has accelerated in recent days.
Manchester United have welcomed four new signings to Ruben Amorim’s squad this summer, but the club has struggled to get rid of unwanted players.
In the summer, Amorim decided to send five United players into exile because he believed they had futures away from Old Trafford. Those players include Alejandro Garnacho, Antony, Jadon Sancho, Marcus Rashford and Tyrell Malacia.
Only Rashford has been able to secure a move after joining Barcelona on loan until the end of the season. However, there has been no shortage of speculation. Garnacho has been heavily linked with Chelsea, while Real Betis want Antony.
There is less demand for other players, such as Sancho and Malacia, due to their shortcomings in recent years.
United will hope to move some players on in the final days of the summer transfer window.

Elche in talks over Tyrell Malacia deal
Finding a new club for Malacia is among Ineos’ priorities.
The left-back is not part of Amorim’s plans, and there are multiple options ahead of the Netherlands international in United’s pecking order.

Diego Leon arrived in the summer as a backup option for Patrick Dorgu. On top of that, Malacia’s stock took a hit after an unconvincing loan spell at Eredivisie-winning PSV Eindhoven.
According to VI, La Liga outfit Elche held a positive meeting with Malacia on Monday, and they are now in talks with United over a loan deal.
It is understood that the French side Lille also held talks with the player, but missed an opportunity because manager Bruno Genesio was not present for those talks.
The report adds that Malacia is ‘eager’ to regain his footing in a top league.
Roma wanted to sign Man Utd duo
The same report from VI outlines how AS Roma considered a move for Malacia and Sancho, but neither player could be convinced to join the Serie A outfit.
That said, there is still a chance that Sancho could join Roma this summer as they are one of his last chances to leave United.
Sancho is currently reconsidering the option to join Roma, while Malacia looks set to sign for Elche on loan.
Time is running out ahead of Monday’s deadline.
