Everton’s transfer business has rightfully gained plaudits this summer.
David Moyes has quietly assembled a side that will be a force to be reckoned with during this new Premier League campaign.
This was evident in Everton’s win over Brighton in the Hill Dickinson Stadium, with the likes of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Iliman Ndiaye impressing.
Perhaps the jewel in the crown for Everton is Jack Grealish, with his loan move from Manchester City gaining the approval of former Everton boss Sam Allardyce.

Sam Allardyce ‘glad’ Jack Grealish joined Everton as one concern emerges
Wayne Rooney was also impressed with Grealish’s performance against Brighton, as the winger looks to use his time at Everton to propel his way back into the England setup.
MORE TOFFEES STORIES
Allardyce had his say on the loan deal regarding the 29-year-old on the No Tippy Tappy Football podcast (27 August).
“I’m so glad that he got to Everton, and I’m so glad that he got away from Manchester City in the end because it clearly needed to happen,” Allardyce said.
“I think for Manchester City and for him, it’s the right thing to do. I think that he’ll play most weeks if he’s fit, if he can cope with all the games, which I’m sure he can.”
Allardyce’s concerns regarding Grealish’s ability to play regularly may be spot on
Grealish played a total of 735 minutes of football in the Premier League last season
This works out at 37 minutes per game
From what we have seen from Grealish so far, he looks to be back to his very best, but every Evertonian will be hoping their new ace will be able to continue to produce his magic for them regularly throughout the campaign.
Jack Grealish could bring the best out of Thierno Barry
It’s no secret that Barry has struggled at Everton so far since his big-money move from Villarreal earlier this summer.
However, with a winger of Grealish’s quality constantly supplying him, you would imagine that it will help him to find his feet in England eventually.
If Grealish can continue to deliver quality balls to the back post like the one he supplied to Ndiaye against Brighton, then there will be no excuses for Barry not to be netting regularly at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
