Everton teenager Harrison Armstrong produced a stellar performance in the 2-0 win against Mansfield Town last night.
Armstrong enjoyed a terrific loan at Derby County last season, and David Moyes has been keen to have a look at him before making a decision on his future.
The Scotsman started him in the Carabao Cup win last night, and he certainly impressed, registering two assists.
Moyes was pleased with Armstrong’s display, but when asked if he would stay beyond the transfer deadline, he appeared undecided.
Seamus Coleman was asked about just how good the Everton youngster is after the game, and he made some very interesting points.

Speaking to Evertontv after the game, Coleman was asked about Armstrong’s performance, and he was quick to heap praise on the young midfielder, explaining that his self-belief sets him apart from the rest.
“He’s got great talent, he’s a fit lad, works so hard in training,” the 26-year-old said.

“I think he times his runs brilliantly, confident lad in a good way. You know he believes in himself, which is important because some young lads now they come up in training, you just want to see a bit of personality and he’s got that and you know it’s up to us lads to look after him in different ways and prepare him for what’s to come.
“But yeah he’s got a bright future if he keeps his head down and keep working hard and what a great night for him and his family as well.”
David Moyes has big decision to make on Harrison Armstrong
Armstrong has interest from the Championship this summer after his outstanding six-month loan at Derby County last term.
The 18-year-old is wanted by Derby, Blackburn Rovers and Hull City, so Moyes and his chiefs are weighing up whether to keep him or allow him to play more regularly in the second tier.
Another season in the Championship would certainly accelerate his development, however, Everton can’t really afford to lose another midfielder after Abdoulaye Doucoure and Orel Mangala’s exits.
If Armstrong were to leave, Moyes would be left with five options in the middle of the park, which isn’t a great deal considering only Gueye excels at the defensive side of the game.
