Almost as regularly as Newcastle United were linked with Dominic Calvert-Lewin, another former Everton man has also often been linked with a move to Tyneside.
Brazilian striker Richarlison seems to get linked with a move to Newcastle at least once every transfer window, but there's never really been anything to suggest there's ever been a genuine interest.
It doesn't stop the rumours, obviously, and as Newcastle's search for a striker continues, it was inevitable that the 28-year-old's name would come up eventually.
Thankfully, Fabrizio Romano has taken time off from tapping into the thoughts of Alexander Isak to squash the rumours before they get out of hand.

Fabrizio Romano is certain Richarlison will stay at Tottenham
Speaking on the Men In Blazers podcast, the Italian transfer journo said that Richarlison is staying at Tottenham and shut down talk of a swap deal with Newcastle.
“Look, every summer we have rumours about Richarlison leaving. Every transfer window, January, summer, is always about that.
“But then it’s never close because the player is very happy at Tottenham and I’m hearing that Thomas Frank is also very happy with him.
“So I’m not sure he’s leaving. I also heard some rumours about a Newcastle player maybe being included in some deal. But I’m told that this is not the case.
“Richarlison is very happy at Tottenham. I see him staying and I see Tottenham signing two players up front before the end of the season, but not losing Richarlison.”

Is it just me who doesn't rate Richarlison?
Richaralison has got off to a good start for Spurs under Thomas Frank this season, scoring a spectacular overhead kick as part of a brace on the opening day of the season, and even nabbed an assist in the win over Manchester City.
He still doesn't do it for me, so I'm glad that Romano has shut down these rumours. I'm sure Richarlison is much better than he is in my head, like Nicolas Jackson, but I just can't admit to myself that he's a good player, even if he is a Brazilian international.
Thankfully, i've not got to write a million retractions about all the times that I've slated him because he's not coming to Newcastle.
