Lots of Cooper Flagg news for Wednesday, including why Anthony Edwards doesn’t feel motivated to dunk on Flagg (he prefers to posterize centers), Charles Barkley’s take on Flagg’s Mavericks (might be as high as #2 in the West if everyone is healthy), Flagg is back on the cover of SLAM and Mark Cuban is pretty excited about what Flagg brings to the Mavericks.

It’s certainly interesting to see the level of fascination with Flagg. Training camp for Dallas is a little more than a month away still. Somewhat surprisingly, camp will be at Simon Fraser University in British Columbia. That seems like a long ways to go but on the other side, it’s incredibly beautiful. There can’t be too many nicer places to work on your game. And it might be a bit early for this, but it gives Flagg a chance to get away from Dallas for a bit. He’s already in a bit of a fishbowl environment.
