“He Is Going To Get People To The Game”: Shedeur Sanders Sparks Travis Kelce’s Fiery Clapback…

Shedeur Sanders is not the backup quarterback for the Cleveland Browns, and fans have been expressing mixed reactions. Instead of Sanders, rookie Dillon Gabriel will be QB2 to veteran Joe Flacco, who will be the starting quarterback for the team in the 2025 NFL season. Many have been voicing their disappointment with head coach Kevin Stefanski’s decision, while others, like former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, side with him.

Jason Kelce and his brother, Travis Kelce, were discussing exactly this in the latest episode of their ‘New Heights’ podcast. While Jason Kelce felt that head coach Stefanski’s decision was valid, Travis Kelce had another opinion.

“This isn’t anything against Dillon; this isn’t anything against Joe. I’m just saying the excitement is there for him to go out there. He’s going to put eyes on the screen. He’s going to bring people to the game. It is what it is. I would love to f**king see it, man. I would love to f**king see it.” Travis Kelce said about Shedeur Sanders in the latest episode of the ‘New Heights’ podcast.

Travis Kelce’s words about Shedeur Sanders are actually right since Deion Sanders’ youngest son has easily become the most popular player in the Cleveland Browns ever since his arrival. Shedeur Sanders has also managed to impress in the preseason games, stunning in the opener with two touchdowns.

However, he was unable to do much in the preseason finale since head coach Kevin Stefanski pulled him out prematurely. For this move, Stefanski has been called out and condemned by many who feel that the head coach should have done differently.

Shedeur Sanders’ Browns Called Out By Cam Newton

Meanwhile, Shedeur Sanders has built up quite an army of supporters around him. Retired NFL quarterback Cam Newton recently expressed that the Cleveland Browns have done a shoddy job at giving players their deserved opportunities.

“It’s getting to a point where it’s becoming abundantly clear that there is a motive in Cleveland. Now, when I look at the stat line, some people would look at yards, some would look at TDs. What I’m seeing is the efficiency, more or less, the sack yards.” Cam Newton said about Shedeur Sanders and the Cleveland Browns.

Cam Newton remarked that he would like to see “equality amongst the locker room in Cleveland”, which pretty much echoes what many NFL fans are thinking at the moment. No matter what happens, Shedeur Sanders continues to be one of the most popular players in the Browns camp right now.
