Another club joins Crystal Palace in looking at Hwang Hee-chan from Wolves - journalist

Hwang Hee-chan could be leaving Molineux this summer after four years of service to Wolves, with multiple clubs interested.

Hwang Hee-chan wore the armband in Wolves’ Carabao Cup win against West Ham on Tuesday.

The Korean is one of the more experienced players in Vitor Pereira’s squad, but concerns about gametime have pushed Hwang to consider a future elsewhere.

Crystal Palace have emerged as a destination for Hwang, after former Wolves sporting director Matt Hobbs assumed a new role at Selhurst Park.

But now, Hwang has popped up on the radar of the Eredivisie champions.

PSV interested in Wolves striker Hwang Hee-chan

Crystal Palace are clearly in need of attacking depth, with the recent departure of Eberechi Eze leaving minutes open in the forward line. But Dutch champions PSV are also in the market for another forward.

And an ED report suggests they are looking at Hwang as a serious option.

Both Palace and PSV are interested in a loan with an option to buy, but Wolves may hold out for a permanent offer.

A minutes guarantee is also probably needed for Hwang to agree.

Wolves will wait to see what happens with incomings before deciding on Hwang Hee-chan

There has been mention of reluctance from Wolves to progress with negotiations for Hwang, with the position a source of concern amid Jorgen Strand Larsen’s Newcastle links.

Wolves are actively looking for new strikers, having agreed personal terms with Genk’s Tolu Arokodare.

They are also looking into reuniting Vitor Pereira with Corinthians striker Yuri Alberto, and though the Christantus Uche deal has taken a step back, they are still in the race.

Once at least one more striker is brought in, we could see Hwang links take a step forward.

But with Fabio Silva off to Borussia Dortmund, no further subtractions can be made until additions are in place.
