There will be plenty of movement up and down the Premier League over the final days of the transfer window, which will shut at 7pm on Monday.

Senior additions are needed, particularly up front, but Newcastle could let one young attacker leave, with a certain Academy star receiving surprise interest ahead of the deadline.

As revealed by [The Mail](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-15040799/Newcastle-expected-return-bid-Premier-League-star.html), Trevan Sanusi is wanted by Ligue 1 duo Le Havre and Auxerre, who are both keen to take the 18-year-old on loan.

Ben Jacobs also reports that Le Havre have shown ‘concrete interest’ in the exciting England youth international, who could benefit from a season at senior level after shining with our Under-21s.

Sanusi was one of the breakout talents from our pre-season campaign last summer, but had a stop-start 2024/25 season after picking up an injury.

Last summer, Eddie Howe admitted it was “too early” to loan out the tricky winger, but that stance may have changed a year later, especially now Park Seung-soo is likely to stay with our Under-21 side this season.

Speaking about Sanusi last August, Howe said:_“Personally I think it’s too early to loan him. The biggest thing we have to do is to develop his talent and to keep improving his game – but also develop him psychically._

_“I thought he did well tonight. I think he’s got bits to learn, of course, for someone his age. Tactically he’s got things to improve._

_“We’ve got to build him up physically to protect him and to make sure he’s robust enough to deal with the rigours of the Premier League. But he’s left a positive impression on us and I’m really pleased with him.”_
