Ruben Amorim is in crisis mode at Manchester United after his side crashed out of the Carabao Cup at the hands of Grimsby Town.
The Red Devils suffered a humiliating defeat against the League Two outfit, relying on an 89th-minute Harry Maguire equaliser to take the tie to penalties.
It truly was a magical cup tie for the neutrals as Charles Vernam and Tyrell Warren scored within eight minutes of each other in the first half.
Bryan Mbeumo, who missed the decisive spot-kick in the shootout, opened his account for Manchester United to begin the comeback.

And while Man United fans have slammed Diogo Dalot for his efforts on the night, Amorim named a strong line-up for the clash, but still he was unable to claim victory over fourth-tier Grimsby.
Manchester United need a manager like Sean Dyche
When taking calls from Man United fans live on talkSPORT, Jamie O’Hara couldn’t believe what he was hearing as Jason Cundy agreed with one fan who claimed Sean Dyche would do a good job at Old Trafford.
Cundy said: “Who do Man United think they are? Seriously, what is wrong with Sean Dyche right now?
O’Hara replied: “They’re not going to bring in Sean Dyche, mate.”
Cundy: “No, they’re not. No, they’re not right. What they need right now is a Sean Dyche. They could do a lot – well, they are doing a lot worse.”
Rio Ferdinand urged supporters to be patient when responding to Man United fans who want Amorim sacked following the 1-1 draw against Fulham.
However, Amorim now has fewer points than matches won throughout his last 29 Premier League fixtures, and he has now added an early Carabao Cup exit to his name.
The Portuguese boss has been under immense pressure after a disastrous first campaign at Old Trafford, and although the Red Devils have spent approximately £195 million to revamp the front line, the same problems are arising.
Simon Jordan admitted he is “perplexed” by Amorim as the United boss still lacks a clear identity, and even summer arrivals Matheus Cunha and Benjamin Sesko couldn’t present an upset despite the pair starting at Blundell Park.
Sean Dyche believes he would do a better job than Ruben Amorim
Dyche heroically steered Everton away from relegation twice during his spell on Merseyside before he was replaced by former United boss David Moyes last season.
Admittedly, it is inconceivable to think that Sir Jim Ratcliffe would consider Dyche should he find himself looking for a new face in the dugout at Old Trafford.
Former Premier League forward Charlie Austin echoed the sentiment that Dyche would help stabilise United when speaking on Amorim live on Sky Sports News.
"You've got to look at the jobs Sean Dyche has done. He'd stabilize the club!"

And Dyche believes he would do a better job than Amorim, he discussed the problems at Man United when appearing on The Overlap in May.
“He’s not going to change the way he plays. He better win some games – pretty quick. I reckon if I went there and played my way, we’d win more games. Just 4-4-2 – give them basic rules of principles.”
