Travis Hunter carries big expectations this season as a rookie with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Following his standout college seasons, the dual-threat star is entering a new chapter in his life.
The former Colorado Buffaloes star and Heisman Trophy winner will line up as a wide receiver on offense and a cornerback for the defense.
It's unclear how much he'll play on each side of the ball for his debut season, but time will likely tell where the Jaguars feel he best fits during the season.
The team is looking towards a turnaround after an unsuccessful 2024 campaign, which saw them finish with a losing record and not qualify for the postseason.

However, renewed optimism arrives that quarterback Trevor Lawrence will return to form, and their No. 2 pick, Hunter, will shine where it matters most.
With his NFL debut on the way, Hunter recently announced significant news about his personal life: He and his wife have welcomed a new addition to their family.
In his latest YouTube video, Hunter announced the birth of his and wife Leanna De La Fuente's baby boy.
The short video features De La Fuente and Hunter showing their original pregnancy test and the couple's excited celebration afterward.
They also revealed sonogram images and a sign sharing that they were expecting a boy. However, Hunter and his wife kept it all under wraps from most people, making the birth news a surprise.
Hunter and De La Fuente's relationship extends back to his days playing for Deion Sanders at Jackson State. The couple tied the knot this May.
In another part of the video, Hunter appears on camera brushing his teeth. De La Fuente is filming and says they are heading to Green Bay to find out where the baby will be born and grow up.
Hunter, 22, became the No. 2 pick at the NFL Draft in April, held in Green Bay. Their baby will likely grow up seeing dad play for the Jacksonville Jaguars and potentially becoming the league's next superstar player.
His team gets its NFL season started with a Sunday, Sept. 7 home game against the Carolina Panthers.
