**West Ham have worked to deliver a significant shift in the transfer window with deals for midfielders close to completion, its been reported by ExWHUEmployee.**
It was reported earlier by our insider that the club were confident of completing the signing of Soungoutou Magassa from Monaco, despite late interest from Eintracht Frankfurt. The player has undergone his medical and is close to being confirmed as a West Ham player.
Then in a stunning turn of events also, Mateus Fernandes has also carried out a medical, as he gets set to complete an approximate £42m move from Southampton.
Following on from this, Ex has then revealed that the club are also in talks to sign Quinten Timber of Feyeonord, as revealed previously.
“We can confirm that not only are we extremely close to signing Magassa and Fernandes,” stated Ex. “With both deals hopefully reaching their closure today but we are also still in the mix for Quinten Timber of Feyeonord too. In an incredible turn of events our midfield situation looks like it could go from no signings to possibly three overnight.
“Timber isn’t as advanced as the other two but the club still remain in the mix. It appears that both Fernandes and Magassa completed their medical yesterday with it to be finalised today.
“This is likely to see the departure of Andy Irving and Guido Rodriquez from the club who will join Edson Alvarez on leaving from our midfield. 3 in and 3 out.”
