Heat Would Land Giannis Antetokounmpo In Massive 6-Player Blockbuster Trade Idea

The Milwaukee Bucks have had an offseason full of changes, but this latest trade idea from Bleacher Report's Zach Buckley would instantly change the landscape of the basketball world as we know it.

The Miami Heat would be the recipients of two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo in this massive six-player deal.

Miami is coming off a 37-45 season, which was good for the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference last year.

There was no shortage of drama in Miami after superstar Jimmy Butler made his intentions known that he was looking for a trade, and the Heat fulfilled his request by sending him to the Golden State Warriors last year.

Adding a player like Antetokounmpo would get Miami into a much more favorable spot in the wide-open East. With Antetokounmpo still just 30 years old, Miami could build around the superstar for years to come. The would-be return, according to Buckley, would be massive, though.

In the trade idea, Antetokounmpo and Bobby Portis head to Miami, in exchange for Tyler Herro, Kel'el Ware, Jaime Jaquez Jr., Terry Rozier, a 2030 first-round pick, a 2032 first-round pick, and a 2031 first-round pick swap.

Ware is a 21-year-old center who put up 9.3 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks per game on his way to a sixth-place finish in last year's Rookie of the Year voting. He started the season off as a rotational piece, but ended it starting playoff games for Miami.

He is a significant part of the would-be deal since he was reportedly off limits when the Phoenix Suns were looking for a trade for superstar Kevin Durant.

The other young pieces - like 25-year-old Tyler Herro, who is coming off career-highs in points (23.9), field goal percentage (47.2 percent), and assists (5.5) per game, and 24-year-old Jaime Jaquez Jr. - can also be extremely valuable pieces for the Bucks.

Rozier, the 31-year-old point guard, can provide depth to Milwaukee's team and a veteran presence in the locker room. If a trade like this comes to life, the Bucks will be looking for a new identity, and players like Rozier can prove to be pivotal in providing that.

Antetokounmpo has shown no indications of wanting to leave the Bucks this offseason, and the ownership of the franchise hasn't shown any inclination to trade him as well. If something like this were to materialize, expect sheer chaos in the NBA for quite some time.
